 Come & Sing: Fauré Requiem
Saturday 24 January 2026 | RBAI, Belfast
Join the Belfast Philharmonic Society and the Ulster Orchestra for a special Come & Sing event celebrating one of the most loved works in the choral repertoire — Gabriel Fauré’s Requiem.
Singers of all ages and experience levels are warmly invited to spend the full day (10am–5pm) rehearsing and performing this radiant and deeply moving masterpiece. Under the direction of Chorus Director James Grossmith, participants will be supported by members of the Belfast Philharmonic Choir, guest soloists, and pianist Gail Evans.
The Come & Sing is one of the highlights of our season — a day of friendship, music-making, and joy. Whether you’re a regular singer or returning to choir after a break, this is the perfect opportunity to raise your voice in a welcoming atmosphere.
There is no dress code for the day, but please wear something warm and comfortable.
Places are open to singers of all levels — book early to guarantee your place!
Please indicate your voice part during booking, as well as whether you are bringing your own score. The preferred edition for the score is the standard Faure Requiem.
