Of all the stories told in 2023/24, the Ulster Orchestra Season Finale tackles the most fundamental – the question of existence itself. One of the largest symphonies ever written in terms of forces, length and harmonic scope, it starts in a contemplation of death and ends with soloists and chorus joining with the Orchestra in a phenomenal hymn of resurrection. It’s an incredible journey, and one that is only truly experienced in a live performance where you can feel the air shake.
